Sunday Sinfonia Orchestra is an community orchestra under the direction of Simon Maurer. Our mission is to produce quality music, help musicians reach their highest level, and bring the joy of music to others.
Since Fall 2016, Sunday Sinfonia Orchestra has collaborated with the Albright College String Chamber Orchestra. The combined group is called "Sunday Sinfonia at Albright College" for the duration of the collaboration. The orchestra is under the leadership of Simon Maurer, Musical Director of SSO, and Dana Weiderhold of Albright College. Music styles include classical, modern classical, modern pop (such as soundtracks and movie themes), and much more.
