The suggested donation for the Spring season is $80.
These donations will be used to pay our Music Director, Simon Maurer.
*Student registration will be handled through Albright College Music Department.

Enter the Center For The Arts Building, go to the Music Wing, and Roop Hall is the first door on the left.
If coming from Route 222, follow signs to Route 12 East. Take the exit for 11th Street. Make a RIGHT at the bottom of the ramp. At the first light, make a LEFT onto Rockland Street. Make a RIGHT onto North 13th Street. Turn LEFT at the 2nd intersection onto Bern Street. The visitor parking lot will be immediately on your right hand side. The Center of Fine Arts building is on the left side. You will enter the building where it says Music Department above the door. Roop Hall is the first room on the left. We will make sure there are people and/or signs to help direct the first rehearsal there.
Spring 2024 Season Info
- We will have one break at each rehearsal.
- Snacks will be provided by members according to sign-up sheets, which will be available at rehearsals.
- Masking and social distancing will be according to Albright College rules. As of Fall 2022 (the latest posted on the Albright web site), “masking indoors is currently optional for all Albrightians and guests to the campus.” SSO members will be notified if this changes.
ALL rehearsals will be held on Sunday evenings from 5:30pm – 8:30pm at Albright College in Roop Hall (Map to Roop Hall), except as noted below.
All rehearsals will be led by Simon Maurer unless otherwise noted below.
Rehearsal dates/times are subject to change depending on Simon’s/Dana’s availability.
Apr 21 (Note Time Change: 11:30am-2:00pm in Roop Hall. Note also there will be no food assignments for this rehearsal. Members are welcome to bring their own snacks.)
Weather (or COVID) Cancellations: Our Personnel Director, Judy Terwilliger, will notify members by email if a rehearsal is canceled for any reason, including weather. If in doubt, contact Albright College for closure information. If the college is closed, rehearsal is canceled.
